In Windows 7, click Start > All Programs > Maintenance > Create a System Repair Disc and let Windows 7 build a bootable emergency disc. Windows will create a disc that will have the Windows 7 OS and some hardware specific info for you computer. The steps for creating a repair disc for older versions of Windows are similar.
